As we spring in to a new decade, we have taken a look back over the past decades makeup trends. What was hot? What was not! and What is makeup history repeating?

The polished glam has really dominated the makeup scene with its heavy contour, filtered face and Instagram ready brows.

So what has 2020 got in store for this seasons beautiful brides?

Well the minimalist beauty is nothing new and we have been heading in to this ‘trend’ for sometime, and its not looking to slow down or change any time soon!

Brides this season will be following the latest minimalist trend of enhancing over concealing their    natural beauty.

We are talking light buildable foundations, these allow the skin to shine through.  Think Megan Markle on her wedding day and your on the right track!

Timeless & classic tones to show natural beauty.

The fresh peach/bronzed beachy look will be on the hot list this summer, using corals and bronzes on cheeks with delicately placed soft pink highlight on the cheek bones - just enough to add that natural glow.

It really is about that natural glow, and glowing skin is really on trend, its important to get that pre wedding skin care regime started asap! whether that is at home skin care - scrubs and masks or salon facials every month, its never to early to start and one of the main things we tell our future brides its all about the ‘Hydration’! hydrating your self as well as products to hydrate the skin you can never have enough…. you will thank us for it later.

Past seasons we have seen eyebrows evolve and become ‘insta ready’ super sharp and carved! well one big switch up this season will see brows becoming fuller and fluffy, yes you read it! ‘fluffy’ so we are not talking wild and mono brows here, we mean styled but naturally styled and shaped over the hd carved brow.

Eyes its all about the eyes!

Bronzed lids using rose golds, soft and subtle rose and plum hues add that romantic warmth to the eyes. A smoky eye is always ‘in’ but switching from strong dark tones to soft ones paired with individual or false eye lashes really does make a subtle statement

So what’s on everyone’s lips this season?

Well we are seeing a move from the nude matte lip to more of a wine/berry pout!

Pinks and nudes will always be on the bridal trend list, but a significant change this season from matte to the more opaque and gloss finish, with sheer tints and glosses making a come back, they are really giving the perfect pout.

Using matte lipsticks with a gloss to change the look is the perfect plan giving the right hint of colour for the perfectly kissable lip.
